Chapter 24 + lovely color

warning: awesome chapter ahead. don’t read below and just jump to the chapter, don’t waste ur time.

either way, there’s a phrase in there that goes ‘恋焦がれる色【こいこがれるいろ】’. and i was like ‘wut’s dat O_O’. yeah, actually the chapter had a lot of those moments xD but anyway, that’s the one that the more… interesting. and the only one i couldn’t really solve. Koigareru iro.

Koigareru is: to yearn for; to be deeply in love with.

and iro is: color.

but ‘a color that i yearn for’ made little sense in there… ok, maybe it did fit, but it seemed to be some sort of expression so i had to ask google sensei xD such expression seems to be used only for ‘black’ and ‘white’,  apparently because they are a color which is ‘purely that color’? maybe xD anyway, that’s what i wrote. if someone knows the correct answer, i’ll draw a smiley face in your forehead and give you a candy! :D not hugs, cause i’m allergic to those. who would want contact with another human being, anyway… you’d better not comment on that. the original sentence is: 自分の恋焦がれる色に染まれるのだ, where jibun probably refers to ‘him/his’.
